Happy One Year to Strikeachordblog ️️
As the year end draws closer and closer along with the festive season to celebrate all our big and small victories and lessons, I am thinking as I am writing this blog post today, it’s already been a year since my first blog post!!!
This past year has been one of the most life changing years for me… I remember as I had written my first blog post, my son was in my belly snug and cozy and I was happily enjoying my pregnancy along with dishing out yummy recipes for my hubby…
I encountered a cute little miracle in this daily swirl of life whizzing by and I thought, let me share this with people, let me just spread love and positivity and strike a chord in the hearts of people… let me try…
Although I have actively worked on my blog only since May 2016, my first blog post will always be special to me 🙂
Moving on to today’s post, in order to celebrate my little victory and blog anniversary, and to put forward some fashion inspiration for the upcoming festive and party season, I put together an ethnic fusion fashion look:
Traditional with a Twist:
As is evident in my previous fashion post as well, ( Black Out : https://strikeachordblog.wordpress.com/2016/10/13/shlog8-black-out/) one of my dearly beloved wardrobe staples has to be something in the colour black of course!
All the more pretty when it is embroidered with delicate golden roses – black and gold never gets old
I love styling my tunics in a way that brings out an ethnic essence…
The tunic I wore in this look touches at the correct traditional points yet, gives it a hint of an Indo fusion look as well ️
I have paired the look with statement jewelry by Amrapali and a statement clutch by Garema Official which amps up the accessory quotient by many many levels!!!
High block heels by Aldo tied up the whole look together.
Lastly, the red roses on my hair not only provided the necessary contrast and that pinch of vintage glamour which is a characteristic element in all my fashion looks, but also brought the roses on my dress to life
Also, read my previous blog Clutching Awesomeness: https://strikeachordblog.wordpress.com/2016/05/26/clutching-awesomeness/ , to know more about the extremely gorgeous Garema Official clutches – these are a must have this party season ladies
